S.A.S. – Are You Tough Enough

Now *that’s* Reality TV™!!! I just saw an episode of _S.A.S. – Are You Tough Enough_ on the
History Television channel.

Amazing! These folks are put through training exercises similar to what the S.A.S. are put through in a reality-tv format.

Unfortunately the BBC canned it after two seasons, but it looks like History Television has picked it up.

If you’re a reality tv junkie it’s a must see!

I am “The People”. Hear me!

Yesterday, while at home nursing my cold,
Dave sent me an
article about a new Ontario Department of Health regulation that would require freezing and subsequent thawing of raw fish for things like sushi.

I sprung into action. Emailing Jim Chan, Toronto’s manager of public health and the Hon Mr. George Smitherman, and suggesting to
Kelly the idea to start a public protest on her blog. She was good enough to do
so (here).

Today we hear that the Ontario Ministry of Health is backing down from it’s initial stance.

Now if only democracy had a way for us to inject into the beginning of the process, rather than the end after the monies and meetings have been wasted.

Google is just too much fun!

Too much fun can be had with Google! Searching for credit card numbers that people have posted, seeing how many hits your name gets.

A new one, thanks to Engadget is How digitcameras loose their virginity. Nice!

New Blog

Haven’t been running lately and have recently been feeling the desire to have a generic blog space.

So here it is. Enjoy.
